Common questions

Where is my data kept?
On your device, and nowhere else. Dealt has no servers and no accounts. See the Privacy Policy.

How do I back up my projects?
Settings → Your Data → Export a backup. That writes a file you can save to Files, email to yourself, or keep anywhere you like. Restore from the same place. Note that photos, videos and voice notes stay on the phone and are not part of the backup.

I deleted the app. Can I get my projects back?
Only from a backup file you exported earlier. Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device, and there is no copy anywhere else.

How do I cancel my subscription?
Apple handles subscriptions. Open the Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → Dealt → Cancel. You can also reach it from Dealt's own Settings screen. Cancelling before the trial ends means you are not charged.

I already paid but the app says I'm not subscribed.
Tap Restore Purchases on the subscribe screen. That asks Apple for any subscription bought with your Apple ID. If it still doesn't find one, make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it with, then email us.

My reminders aren't arriving.
Check that notifications are allowed: Settings app → Dealt → Notifications. Also check whether a Focus mode is silencing them. Dealt schedules reminders on the device, so they work without a connection — but the phone's own settings decide whether you hear them.

Why doesn't the app make a sound?
Dealt's Alert Style setting offers Vibration or Sound, but your ringer switch and Focus settings have the final say.

Is there an iPad or Mac version?
Not yet. Dealt is iPhone-only for now.

Accessibility

Dealt is built to work fully with VoiceOver. If you use VoiceOver and something is unclear, unreachable or reads wrongly, please email — that kind of report is genuinely useful and gets fixed.

Reporting a problem

If you email about something going wrong, it helps to include:
